1. Services

Voice17 may provide account services, voice cloning, text-to-speech, story mode, content management, memberships, credits, payment features, customer support, and other features introduced from time to time. Actual functionality may vary by region, plan, or platform.

2. Accounts and Security

• You must provide accurate and current registration information and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activities conducted through your account.
• You must notify Voice17 promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or another account-security issue.

3. User Content and Permissions

You retain rights in materials you lawfully own or control. To operate the service, you grant Voice17 the limited rights necessary to host, process, transcode, store, display, and transmit your submitted and generated content within the scope of the service.

You represent and warrant that your content and your use of the service do not infringe third-party rights, including copyright, privacy, publicity, voice, trademark, or other legal rights.

4. Prohibited Conduct

• Cloning, imitating, misrepresenting, or deploying another person’s voice or identity without authorization.
• Using the service for fraud, harassment, defamation, unlawful marketing, deceptive practices, illegal deepfakes, or any unlawful or abusive purpose.
• Uploading malware, attacking the platform, bypassing restrictions, reverse engineering, scraping, or interfering with service stability or security.
• Violating applicable law, regulation, public order, industry rules, or these terms in any other way.

5. Memberships, Credits, and Payments

Certain features may require a paid membership, subscription, credits, or one-time payment. Pricing, entitlements, validity periods, and specific purchase rules are shown on the applicable order or pricing pages.

You must use lawful payment methods. Except as required by law or explicitly stated otherwise, consumed digital entitlements are generally non-refundable.

6. Changes, Suspension, and Termination

• Voice17 may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue parts of the service at any time for business, technical, security, or legal reasons.
• Service interruptions may occur because of maintenance, network failures, third-party outages, policy changes, or force majeure.
• If you violate these terms, Voice17 may warn you, remove content, limit features, freeze credits, suspend the service, or terminate your account.

7. Intellectual Property

The Voice17 platform, software, interfaces, algorithms, models, documentation, trademarks, and branding are owned by Voice17 or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, rent, sell, reverse engineer, or otherwise exploit them beyond the rights expressly granted to you.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Voice17 provides the service on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or suitability for a particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Voice17 is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for loss of profit, goodwill, or data arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

9. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. Disputes arising out of or relating to these terms should first be resolved through good-faith negotiation and may otherwise be submitted to a court with proper jurisdiction.

10. Updates and Contact

Voice17 may update these terms to reflect changes in the service, the law, or our operations. Updated terms become effective once posted or on the stated effective date.
